In an attempt to write more, and write about different things, I decided to make a baseball blog over at http://www.raphbaseblog.wordpress.com!
What can you expect there? Probably fantasy baseball talk, Yankees talk, overall baseball talk.

This week wasn’t so bad. Let’s talk about it.
I’m not even going to bother posting all of the intricate results this week, as I was away at CGS Super Show, and I had told myself I would update my fantasy teams every morning. I did not. I’m not going to blame the fact that I was at Super Show on my losses… I’m going to blame my poor attention span. It would’ve taken 3 minutes each morning and I fucked it up. No excuses.
League 1: CGS League This Week: 0 – 10 – 2 Overall Record: 17-26-5
League 2: Midtown League This Week: 9 – 14 – 7. OVERALL RECORD: 53 – 41 – 26
League 3: Keeper League This Week: 8 – 12 – 0. Overall RECORD: 32-43-5
I am disgusted with myself, but I had a good time at Super Show… so yeah, I’m a mixed bag.
I’m a little late with it this week, and I’m not enthused by my results. It’s still early, but when you think about it more and more, it starts getting to you. Hopefully next week won’t be so bad. Same order as last week.
That’s how much baseball means to me: I’ll take part in THREE teams and write about the results every week. Or try to. Really, it also helps me write consistently.
I have the leagues organized by my past track record in them, worst to best.
My Final Fantasy Baseball Analysis, the draft happened a week ago, and I’ve had some other stuff I wanted to do. So here it is finally!
Today was the 20 team league with managers from The Comic Forums. The Comic Forums are based around the Comic Geek Speak community. There are 6 offensive categories and 6 pitching categories.
On Monday I drafted in my Midtown Comics Non-Keeper League. 12 Teams… multiple categories. Lots and Lots of them.
I’m picking 5th Overall. In a snake draft, it means I pick 5th and 20th, 29th and 44th, etc. etc.
This is the last of my analysis. I’m going to look at the Bacon Cock Juices league where I became TWO-TIME (TWO-TIME) Fantasy Baseball Champeen!
Team: Midtown Urine Cakes
Finish: 1st, League Champion. 307 – 219 – 134 .567 Win %
This time I’ll be looking at my 6 x 6 Head to head league. This league consists of membrs of The Comic Forums. I’ve been part of this league since 2007, and it’s notorious for it’s difficulty.
This league usually has 20 teams, which means that the rosters can get a little thin, much like an actual baseball team.
